MetLife Bangladesh, in response to the ongoing impact of the pandemic in the nation, has come up with the initiative to launch the first of its kind 3-hour claim decision service for COVID-19 death claims of coverages up to Tk 20 lakh.
With this new fast track service, in addition to receiving the claim decision in 3 hours, beneficiaries of deceased policyholders will also receive the amount of the claim in 3 working days through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
At this moment, this service is only available to only the individual policies.
The 3-hour claim decision service can be attained by sending an email to email@example.com with a simple set of documents. The beneficiaries will receive SMS notifications on the progress of their claim requests.
MetLife Bangladesh’s General Manager Ala Ahmad stated when commenting on this new service, “In times like these, it is our duty to do what we can to serve our customers and this three-hour COVID-19 claim decision is our latest effort to respond to the pandemic situation in Bangladesh.”
