The daily consumer goods prices continue surging for which the lower and middle income people suffer a lot.
The price of tea leaves has gone up from Tk 360 to Tk 430 per kg, sugar has gone up from Tk 60 to Tk 80, condensed milk from Tk 52 to Tk 75. The price of the cylinder gas is now Tk 1,300.
the prices of all daily necessities, including chickens, eggs, onions, sugar, gas, flour and milk, have been increasing at an alarming rate. Broiler chicken price has gone up from Tk 120 to Tk 190 per kg, soybean oil from Tk 110 to Tk 160, coarse pulses from Tk 60 to Tk 100 and prices of all kinds of vegetables have increased by Tk 5-10.
The prices of all food items here have gone up, chicken curry has gone up from Tk 40 to Tk 60, and beef is now being sold at Tk 100 instead of Tk 80.
The flour sack which was Tk 1,800 five days ago is now being sold at Tk 2,300, Tk 45 onions are being sold at Tk 80.
Meanwhile, sellers are forced to sell them at a growing price and so consumers.
