Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited has recommended a 100 per cent or Tk10 final cash dividend for the period ending March 31, 2022, to its shareholders.
The overall cash dividend for the year ended March 2021-2022 will be 400 percent, or Tk40, including a 300 per cent, or Tk30 interim cash dividend that was already given, according to a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday. The dividend will be approved in its final form at the annual general meeting (AGM) on August 24 at 10:00 a.m. on the digital platform. The date for the new record has been set for June 26.
Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited boosted its earnings per share (EPS) to Tk 62.68 in the year ending December 31, 2021, up from Tk57.55 the previous year. Its Net Operating Cash Flow per Share (NOCFPS) fell from Tk72.10 in 2020 to Tk63.43 in 2021. The company’s Net Asset Value (NAV) per share fell to Tk227.39 in 2020 from Tk232.29 in the previous year.
