Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, FBCCI senior vice president and convenor of the market monitoring committee, urged for selling products at government-set prices to maintain the market steady ahead of Eid Ul Azha.
During the conference, Mostofa urged that the home market remain steady and that the global market crisis not be exploited.
He directed the market committee to keep an eye on the market and guarantee that the products are sold at the government-set pricing. He also requested mill owners to submit to the FBCCI a list of sugar, salt, flour, and other vendors.
