The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), on 5th June (Saturday) urged the government to give more emphasis on Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the national budget for infrastructure development.
FBCCI president Jashim Uddin said that revenue collection through proper monitoring, governance, and efficient management were the key challenges towards the budget implementation in the country.
So, the standard of administrative and executive proficiency, transparency, accountability and monitoring must be improved, he said.
Integrated and automation must be ensured for revenue collection, he said.
Jashim said that small-scale companies were mostly affected by the coronavirus fallout.
The FBCCI also urged the government to increase allocation for the SMEs and also create a mechanism to engage them with the bank financing.
