Due to the ongoing shortage of chips, Toyota has reduced its global chip production by 40 per cent which will certainly affect the Bangladesh market.
As modern cars become technologically driven, demand for semiconductors rises.
Shortage of chips are also causing automakers to pause some high tech features in cars such as driver assistance systems. In a particular case, microchip control sensors allow the driver to remove hands from the steering wheel on certain well-marked highways, the feature known as advanced driver assistance and monitoring system called Super Cruise.
Furthermore, this shortage will not affect the availability of any of the safety features that the vehicles might have come with.
