To remove some roadblocks and encourage exports, the government plans to regulate the wastage rate for home textile and terry towel items.
According to sources, the Ministry of Commerce has established a high-powered group in this regard.
According to a ministry source, the 11-member team has already begun work in this area and will present required recommendations after thorough review. For household textile and terry towel items produced in and exported from Bangladesh, there is no exact established wastage rate so far.
