ADN Telecom, a prominent IT and telecom services provider, has announced its plan to acquire a 10% stake in Shohoj Limited, the pioneer behind Bangladesh’s largest online ticketing platform, “Shohoz.” The acquisition comes at a cost of Tk12 crore, marking the first local investment in Shohoj Limited. The funds will be utilized by Shohoz to fuel its business expansion.
The Managing Director of ADN Telecom expressed confidence in the investment, stating that it presents significant growth opportunities for both companies. By supporting Shohoj’s business expansion, ADN Telecom aims to enhance its own operations. The focus will be on strengthening the online ticketing sector while fostering collaboration between the expert teams of both companies.
In addition to the Shohoj Limited investment, ADN Telecom has undertaken other ventures, including the construction of a commercial building with a data center in Dhaka. The company’s consolidated net profit has been on the rise, and it has attracted significant investments from sponsors, directors, and institutions. ADN Telecom continues to be a key player in Bangladesh’s IT and telecom sector, with a solid track record of cash dividends for its shareholders.
