The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) adjusted the floor price for Beximco Limited shares to Tk110.10 on 27 November, following a 5% stock dividend for the fiscal year 2024. The company had set a record date of 25 November for this dividend, but due to a technical issue, the DSE initially displayed a 5% increase in Beximco’s share price on 26 November. The error was corrected the following day, with the new floor price reflecting a 4.76% decrease from the previous level. Beximco’s shares had been set at a floor price of Tk115.60 since July 2022 due to economic uncertainties. The company recently reported a significant loss of Tk113 crore in Q1 of FY25.
