The state-run Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) has obtained 1.05 crore or 14.47 per cent shares in Agni Systems Limited. It is an internet and computer service provider listed on stock exchanges.
The sponsor-directors shareholdings now stood at 23.81 per cent. According to the financial statement of Agni System, managing director Mohammed Abdus Salam holds 53.21 lakh shares and director Zia Shamsi 14.52 lakh shares.
The ICB has recently appointed Mofizur Rahman as its representative on the board of the company.
