Bangladesh’s tourist spots like Cox’s Bazar, Kuakata sea beaches, Chittagong Hill Tracts and Sundarbans are getting a lot of visitors as people are bored of staying at home for a long time.
It has been stated that visitor’s interests are being driven up by rich diverse natural ecosystems such as the hills, haors (large natural water bodies), dighis (big ponds) and various other cultural heritage sights of Netrokona district. But these are not being well maintained as it has been found that accommodation and other services are not tourist friendly enough.
The government and the private sector operators are required to improve and expand the infrastructure and service-related facilities at the different potential ecotourism spots in the country.
The tour operators should provide affordable and friendly customer service.
