KajKey, the first freelancing platform in Bengali, has emerged to connect the online freelancers with potential buyers. Since, the number of information technology (IT) freelancers is growing in the country, the demand for a freelance marketplace has also increased.
Kajkey has started the operation to filing that void in October 2018 in the hand of Sabbir Ahmed, it’s co-founder and managing director.
Globally, there several numbers of similar sites are available. Of them, Upwork and freelancer are the most popular ones.
At present, KajKey has 50,000+ registered users and more than 1,000 jobs open for bidding by freelancers.
KajKey positions itself as the one-stop solution for both freelancers and employers. Graphic designers, webpage and app developers, digital marketers and freelancers of other expertise can sign up for free and build their profiles. Employers can post their projects and receive immediate responses from interested freelancers.
The website has a team of 30 people comprising dedicated teams for operations, tech support, marketing and customer care.
KajKey works on a commission-based model. The site charges a flat 25 percent commission from a freelancer after successful completion of a project.
KajKey is going to launch version2 soon with some interesting new features.
