LankaBangla Securities, the country’s largest stockbroker, recently announced an agreement with Chartered Life Insurance to provide free life insurance support to its clients.
According to a press release, LankaBangla Securities will give life insurance coverage to all beneficiary account holders with a specified level of capital market assets for the first time in the local brokerage business.
In the event of a client’s death or permanent incapacity, LankaBangla Securities will pay the premium on their behalf, and the insurer will fulfill the insurance claims. Both organizations have promised to develop further insurance products tied to the capital market as part of the agreement.
