Because of its high-quality meat and milk, Naba Dairy and Cattle Farm in Rajshahi, a sister firm of the Nabil Group, one of the country’s largest and most powerful conglomerates, has become a household brand in the region.
All year long, they sell packaged fresh milk and meat at Rajshahi marketplaces. Their farms are the largest in the district, while not being the largest in North Bengal.
At the moment, 70 Friesian cows generate 300-350 litres of milk. The milk is pasteurized, bottled, and sold under the Naba Fresh Milk brand for Tk70 per litre. The cattle are given grass, cattle feed, and hay grown on the farm and at the factory, and they are fattened in an entirely organic manner.
