A two-day international education fair titled ‘Premier Bank International Education Expo – 2019’ was held at InterContinental Dhaka recently, organised by the International Education Consortium of Bangladesh (IECB). Premier Bank has sponsored the expo for providing opportunities to the students so that they can enhance their knowledge through conversations with agents of some of the renowned universities.
Alam Ara Begum, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) inaugurated the fair. Additional Managing Director of Premier Bank Md Abdul Jabber Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Syed Nowsher Ali, and SEVP and Head of Retail Banking Mohammad Shamim Murshed were also present.
Premier Bank Student File Service is one of the unique retail banking services of the bank to provide customised banking solutions for the students going abroad for higher education.
A total of 34 foreign delegates from as many as universities in different countries, including Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Sweden and Malaysia, participated in the exhibition and provided counselling to the students and guardians. More than 2,000 students registered in the programme.
