Applications are now being accepted for the academic year 2024–2025 through the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.
The program offers highly motivated Bangladeshi students and young professionals the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree in the US with full funding. The preferred candidates include junior to mid-level employees at research institutions, think tanks, and NGOs in both the public and private sectors and also include junior faculty members from higher education institutions in Bangladesh.
The program welcomes applications from students of all disciplines with a special focus on university administration and curriculum development in higher education, public health, biological and physical sciences, social sciences, humanities, business, economics, public policy, environmental sciences, urban planning, the arts, psychology, and security studies.
On June 1, 2023, the application period will be open until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The minimum requirements for eligibility include a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited public or private university, an outstanding academic record, at least two years of full-time professional experience related to the proposed field of study, fluency in English as measured by a minimum iBT TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS 7.0, and Bangladeshi citizenship while residing in Bangladesh at the time of application.til June 1, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
