The low-lying marsh areas of Gopalganj’s Kotalipara upazila are now home to 2,400-meter-long floating beds where local farmers have begun growing vegetables. The program was launched on Saturday afternoon at Machartara Village in Kandi Union by Project Director Dr. Bijoy Krishna Biswas. Local farmers can now cultivate a variety of products, including watermelons, onions, pepper, ginger, and turmeric, professionally using floating beds and contemporary technology.
