Agriculture Minister Md Abdur Razzak mentioned, private sector does not want to invest in agriculture but there is a lot of potential in agriculture and investment is required here.
The Bangladesh government is encouraging and cooperating with the private sector in agricultural research and investment, he added.
The government has provided 20 per cent incentives to increase agricultural processing and the export of agricultural goods.
The minister urged entrepreneurs to specifically invest more in the agro-processing sector.
