“Qcoom used to deliver cheques to its customers on a regular basis,” said Additional Commissioner Hafeez. The Bangladesh Bank (BB) officials were taken aback by this.
“At one point, they decided to freeze Tk397 crore in motorcycle orders that Qcoom had received from the general public.”
“The fundamental problem with our e-commerce business is the aggressive marketing policy,” stated the police commissioner, adding, “DB has found that Qcoom owes at least Tk250 crore to its customers.”
