Sakata Inx, a globally reputed Japanese liquid ink manufacturing company, is going to set up an ink factory with an initial investment of $10 million in the private economic zone, Meghna Industrial Economic Zone in Narayanganj.
In this regard, Sakata Inx (Bangladesh) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sakata Inx (India) Private Ltd, signed a land lease agreement with MIEZ on Thursday. Sakata Inx (India) Private Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sakata Inx Corporation, Japan.
The investment of ink company will generate employment for around 100 people in Bangladesh.
Meghna Group of Industries chairman Mostafa Kamal, Sakata India managing director VK Seth, Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla and other senior officials of BEZA, Meghna Group and Sakata were present at the signing ceremony.
