In the first quarter of 2022–23, Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL) recorded a profit gain of 34.57 percent to Tk 65.47 crore. In the same quarter a year ago, the state-run company earned Tk 48.65 crore in profit.
According to unaudited financial statements, BSCCL reported earnings per share of Tk 3.97 for the three months ending in September, up from Tk 2.95 in the same period last year. While the net asset value per share increased to Tk 68.99 on September 30 from Tk 64.66 on June 30, the net operating cash flow per share increased to Tk 6.04 in the first quarter from Tk 5.87.
