Mominul Islam, managing director and CEO of IPDC, stated that, “IPDC has brought this offer to inspire the youth to read more books. The habit of reading among the new generation is a must to build an intellectually capable leadership for future Bangladesh. We hope Subodh will give a chance to everyone to read books of their interests and sharpen their power of imagination.”
Mahmudul Hasan Sohag, the chairman of Onnorokom Group, a business that owns Rokomari, stated that, “Book is the most effective medium to enlighten minds. IPDC Shubodh will play a huge role to encourage the habit of reading. We believe, with such effort, someday all the people in Bangladesh from any part of the country will have books at their hand.”
On the homepage of the Rokomari.com website, there is a menu website named ‘IPDC Subodh’. From there a visitor can apply for loan and purchase books with Shubodh loan upon confirmation from IPDC.
