In the first half of the financial year 2024, DBH Finance plc’s interest income increased by 23.67% to Tk 350 crore, up from Tk 283 crore in the same period last year, while after-tax profit declined by 16.33% to Tk 41 crore from Tk 49 crore. The earnings per share (EPS) dropped to Tk 2.5 from Tk 2.46, and the net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 44.19 as of June 30. For the financial year ending 2023, the company paid a 15% cash dividend, with an EPS of Tk 4.95 and a NAVPS of Tk 43.63. In 2022, a 17% total dividend was recommended, including 15% cash and 2% stock. DBH Finance, which joined the capital market in 2008, has an authorized capital of Tk 400 crore, paid-up capital of Tk 198.89 crore, and reserves of Tk 663.45 crore, with 19.89 crore shares held by entrepreneurial directors (51.32%), institutional investors (25.45%), foreign investors (7.99%), and common investors (15.24%).
