Midland Bank PLC has donated Tk 60 lakh to support flood-affected people across various districts in Bangladesh. The donation includes Tk 50 lakh from the bank’s 2024 Annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The funds were deposited into the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund to address the urgent needs of flood victims. Additionally, bank employees collectively raised Tk 21.36 lakh from their salaries, half of which was directed towards flood relief efforts. The remaining funds will be donated to a government-endorsed foundation to assist those injured during the student protests in July.
