BSRM’s Revenue Declines by 27% in FY24

BSRM Limited saw a 27% revenue drop to Tk8,352 crore in FY24, down from Tk11,506 crore. However, profit surged 48% to Tk432 crore, with an EPS of Tk14.48. The company announced a 35% cash dividend, and its shares rose 1.36% to Tk82.20. BSRM Steels’ revenue fell 2% to Tk8,270 crore, while profit grew 27% to Tk379 crore, with an EPS of Tk10.10. It declared a 32% cash dividend, and shares climbed 3.87% to Tk56.30.

BSRM launched a $217 million plant in Mirsarai, boosting annual steel production by 8 lakh tonnes and increasing its market share from 23% to 34%. The company secured a $50 million JICA loan for the plant, marking a milestone in green industrialization support.
