Adani Power has reduced electricity supply to Bangladesh, now delivering around 520 MW compared to 1,400-1,500 MW in August, as it seeks to recover $850 million in dues. Bangladesh has issued a new $173 million letter of credit (LC) towards these payments, with ongoing efforts to clear outstanding amounts amid IMF assistance. Monthly payments are approximately $95-97 million, and further delays may risk additional supply reductions. The power supply agreement with Adani Power was initially established in 2015.
