BBS Receives $9.65 Million from KOICA

The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) has secured a funding of $9.65 million from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to enhance its facilities, knowledge sharing, and technology upgrades, as announced by KOICA. The successful completion of the on-site implementation survey for the Capacity Building of Statistics Service based on Platform Project was also revealed. This project aims to enhance the productivity and service of the Statistical Office by developing a master plan, implementing a data warehouse, and enhancing the skills of BBS officials. With a duration of 60 months and a budget of $9.65 million, the project involved an expert team working closely with the BBS team to conduct the implementation study.
