Its company, ENI, is already shortlisted by Petrobangla for selling LNG in the private market.
Italy has diversified its sources of supply and aims to export LNG to other markets once stability is achieved. This indicates Italy’s commitment to strengthening energy sector cooperation with Bangladesh. A long-term agreement for LNG supply would provide both countries with a stable and reliable energy source, fostering economic growth and bilateral relations.
