Mercantile Bank Limited has commenced a month-long training course in Khulna, aimed at nurturing entrepreneurs and fostering new ventures under the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) tranche-3 Project initiated by the Bangladesh Bank. The training saw the participation of twenty-six individuals. S M Hasan Reza, Executive Director of the Bangladesh Bank Khulna office, inaugurated the program as the chief guest, while Hasne Alam, Deputy Managing Director and CBO of Mercantile Bank, presided over the ceremony. The event also welcomed Shamima Sultana Shilu, President of the Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the Khulna division, as a special guest. The initiative is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their business endeavors, contributing to the development and growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.
