On Monday, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) experienced a decline as risk-averse investors opted to book profits on recently gained shares. The benchmark index, DSEX, fell by 13.60 points to settle at 6,325. However, the DS30 Index, comprising blue-chip companies, gained 2.03 points to reach 2,190. Turnover, a key market indicator, increased by 18% to Tk 10.84 billion. Low-cap companies dominated the turnover chart, with Fu-Wang Food being the most traded stock. The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also closed lower, with the CASPI index losing 23 points to stand at 18,707.
