Imam Button Industries Limited, a company listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange, has announced its decision to lease an eight-bigha agricultural project in Mahishdanga, Barguna. The project aims to diversify the company’s business into agriculture, with an investment of Tk 1 crore. The company traded in the ‘Z’ category, recently released its unaudited financial report for the third quarter of the 2019-20 financial year, revealing a loss of 51 paisa per share. This represents a decline from the loss of 29 paisa in the same period the previous year. The company’s net asset value per share as of March 31, 2020, stood at Tk 4.81.
