Grameenphone, a vital player in Smart Bangladesh initiatives, has partnered with Symphony Mobile, a smartphone brand under the Edison group, to launch a co-branded 4G handset named Symphony G26. This collaboration aims to bridge the digital divide by providing cost-effective smartphone solutions, especially for non-smartphone users, thereby advancing the ‘Smart Bangladesh’ vision.
The launch event, held at the Grameenphone Experience Center, unveiled the smartphone and its features. The initiative intends to boost smartphone penetration, offering customers 2.5 GB data and 50 minutes talk-time monthly for 6 months, with a special bundle price of Tk499 for 15GB data and 300 minutes talk-time. This partnership aligns with Grameenphone’s commitment to fostering connectivity and Symphony’s ethos of accessible innovation, reflecting a collective stride towards digital empowerment.
