Mapped in Bangladesh (MiB), a platform offering verified census data about Bangladesh’s apparel industry, has formed an Advisory Board representing various industry stakeholders, including funders, civil society organizations, academia, think tanks, worker’s rights groups, industry associations, and government entities.
The board will help guide MiB’s strategic direction as it expands its presence in Europe and grows its user base. MiB, implemented by BRAC University’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), aims to enhance supply chain visibility by providing comprehensive supply chain data, including supplier factories. It will also support European brands in complying with the European Union’s new Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), particularly the Mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence (MHREDD) regulations.
