Grameenphone’s GP Accelerator has introduced “Jelay Jelay Smart Uddyokta,” a regional design boot camp aimed at empowering youth ideapreneurs. The initiative was officially launched at the Sheraton Hotel in Dhaka with the participation of community builders, startup founders, GP Accelerator alumni, mentors, and industry experts. Startup Bangladesh is collaborating with GP Accelerator as a strategic partner to strengthen and drive this regional program.
The event featured the State Minister of ICT as the chief guest, along with the Managing Director and CEO at Startup Bangladesh, the CEO of Grameenphone, and other high-ranking officials from both organizations.
The goal of “Jelay Jelay Smart Uddyokta” is to promote entrepreneurship to address regional challenges and develop innovative local solutions. The program will involve 30 community builders and conduct pitch sessions at 20 locations, with the aim of identifying and rewarding the top 20 intrapreneurs. This initiative is primarily targeted at university students and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in innovation through startups, providing them with essential skills, mentorship, networking opportunities, and funding support.
