eGeneration Ltd., a software development and IT services company in Bangladesh, reported a profit of Tk 108.75 million for FY 2022–23, marking its highest profit in four years. This growth was driven by increased demand for software and IT-enabled services as local businesses increasingly adopted automation solutions. The company’s EPS for FY’23 stood at Tk 1.45, a slight increase from Tk 1.43 in 2022.
While the year-on-year profit growth was modest at less than 2%, it represented a notable improvement compared to the past four years. eGeneration declared a 10% cash dividend for general investors for FY’23, and an annual general meeting (AGM) is scheduled for December 26 to finalize dividend distribution. The company’s stock price has remained stable at Tk 45.20 since February 2023.
eGeneration provides digital transformation solutions, including IT support, software services, and internet connection sales, to medium and large businesses and government entities. The growing demand for such services, driven by automation adoption, has contributed to its revenue growth.
