Bangladeshi agricultural tech firm, iFarmer, has launched Agri Machinery Experience Centers to offer farmers a convenient way to access and purchase agricultural equipment. These centers are designed to bring machinery from various brands under one roof, providing farmers with hands-on experience, product information, and after-sales services.
The first three Experience Centers are located in the northern part of the country, specifically in Sherpur, Shahjahanpur, and Kalai. They will offer various types of machinery, ranging from low to high value, from different brands. One unique feature is the availability of convenient payment methods, including installment options from 4 to 12 months, which can help ease the financial burden on farmers. Bangladesh is home to 16.5 million farmer families, constituting 40% of the total population and contributing 12.5% to the country’s GDP. iFarmer aims to enhance its agricultural processes with this initiative.
