On the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), most company share prices remained unchanged over the some tite, but the market index showed a negative trend, decreasing by 0.13% to 6,267.90 points. The DSES Shariah Index also decreased by 0.24%, while the DS30 index dropped by 0.09%. Daily average transactions decreased by 4.31%, with the total turnover amounting to Tk 2,195.23 crore, an increase of 19.61% compared to the previous week.
Shamrita Hospital Limited topped the list of gainers, with its share price surging by 32.28%, followed by Khan Brothers PP Oven Bag Industries Limited, up 31.80%. Fu-Wang Food Ltd. was the most traded stock, accounting for 5.80% of the total transaction, with its share price rising by 14.05% during the week. Emerald Oil Industries Ltd. and Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Limited were the next top-traded stocks, contributing 4.48% and 4.35% of the total transaction, respectively. Overall, the market exhibited mixed performance, with both gains and losses among individual stocks.
