Bangladesh’s State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources recently urged Indonesia to collaborate and exchange experiences in the energy sector. The discussions, held during a meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador, highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two countries and identified potential areas of cooperation in the power and energy industry. The ambassador expressed interest in investing in Bangladesh’s solar power sector, with initial talks focusing on a 100 MW solar power plant, potentially expanding to 500 MW. The discussions also touched upon investments in transmission, sub-station, offshore wind, and power storage systems.
