Walton TV Aids Bangladesh Lunar Satellite Project

Walton Television is contributing its ISO class 7 dust-free cleanroom and advanced lab research facilities to Bangladesh’s first lunar satellite project, led by Aspire to Innovate (a2i). In a recent memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing, a2i Project Director and Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Deputy Managing Director formalized the collaboration.

The lunar satellite project, endorsed by NASA, aims to develop a femto-shaped satellite for NASA’s Glee mission, positioning Bangladesh among the ‘Lunar Elite Club’ of 30 countries. The partnership involves joint efforts with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University and Walton Television’s Research and Innovation Center. The initiative is part of NASA’s international deep space mission, ‘The Great Lunar Expedition for Everyone.

Walton TV’s Chief Business Officer highlighted the company’s state-of-the-art facilities, emphasizing their capability to support any institution. The collaboration signals a significant stride in Bangladesh’s space exploration endeavors.
