The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Bangladesh’s Economic Relations Division signed four agreements to support the country in enhancing food and nutrition security. The projects include Technical Assistance to the Diversified Resilient Agriculture for Improved Food and Nutrition Security (RAINS-TA) with a $4 million budget, Accelerating Economic and Social Inclusion of Smallholder Farmers through Strong Producers’ Organizations (ACCESS) with a $3.26 million grant, Public-Private Blended Finance Facility for Climate Resilient Rice Landscape, and Integrating Improved Agricultural Practices and Market Linkages to Improve Nutrition and Incomes of Smallholder Farmers in Cox’s Bazar with a budget of $300,000. The initiatives aim to improve resilience, livelihoods, and nutrition for vulnerable communities across Bangladesh.
