CARE Bangladesh has entered a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Public Health Nutrition (IPHN) and National Nutrition Services (NNS) to strengthen community health systems and improve household nutrition. The tripartite agreement supports USAID’s Community Nutrition and Health Activity (CNHA), aiming to impact sustainably the nutrition and health outcomes of women and children in their first 1,000 days.
The MoU focuses on enhancing leadership, governance, and collaboration between CARE and IPHN to inform nutrition-related policymaking in Bangladesh. NNS commits to supporting CNHA program implementation and national strategies. CARE Bangladesh’s Deputy Country Director emphasized the significance of the MoU in identifying challenges and formulating evidence-based solutions to achieve nutrition goals.
