Jamuna Oil Company Limited has reported a 21% increase in post-tax profit for H1 FY23–24. The company’s unaudited financial report for Q2 reveals a post-tax profit of Tk 203.79 crore for the first half, compared to Tk 168.59 crore in the same period in 2023. The earnings per share (EPS) for H1 stood at Tk 18.46, up from Tk 15.27 in 2023.
The Q2 profit after tax was Tk 119.95 crore, compared to Tk 102.55 crore in the corresponding quarter in FY23. Jamuna Oil’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) as of December 31 was Tk 223.94. The company’s credit rating is ‘Double A Plus’ for the long term and ‘ST-1’ for the short term, according to Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL).
