Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Bank Asia recently distributed free seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to farmers in the Munshiganj district as part of its ongoing efforts to support agriculture nationwide. The event, held at the Memorial Model Primary School in Malkhanagar, Munshiganj, saw the Vice Chairman as the chief guest. The attendees were the Director , additional managing directors, Deputy Managing Director, and Syngenta Bangladesh Limited’s Managing Director.
The distribution program, jointly organized with Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, benefitted 300 local farmers. This initiative signifies Bank Asia’s commitment to enhancing agricultural sustainability and supporting rural communities by providing essential resources. The involvement of key stakeholders underscores the collaborative efforts towards fostering agricultural development and improving livelihoods in Bangladesh’s rural areas.
