Televisions saw a slight decline in ownership from 53.09% in 2021 to 49.49% in 2023. Experts attribute this growth to urbanization, changing lifestyles, and improved living standards. However, concerns over high tariff protection potentially hindering export competitiveness are raised, suggesting a need for gradual phasing out of such protection for local industries.
