Lovello Ice-cream experienced a significant 73% surge in profit for the January to March 2024 quarter, reaching Tk6.01 crore compared to Tk3.47 crore in the same period the previous fiscal year. This increase is credited to heightened ice cream sales, reflecting seasonal demand as summer begins. The earnings per share (EPS) rose to Tk0.71 from Tk0.41 in the corresponding period last fiscal year, as disclosed on the stock exchange’s website. Over the first nine months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, spanning July to March, Lovello’s profit reached Tk10.85 crore, compared to Tk9.65 crore in the same period the prior fiscal year. This sustained growth underscores the company’s strong performance and market presence in the ice cream segment.
