Craftsman Footwear is set to open its qualified investor offer (QIO) subscription from April 21 to April 25, aiming to raise Tk5 crore within the SME platform of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). Its Founder and Managing Director highlighted that the funds raised will be channeled towards the Balancing, Modernisation, Rehabilitation, and Expansion (BMRE) of the factory, as well as bank loan repayments and efficient working capital management. This strategic investment is anticipated to facilitate the introduction of high-quality products, attracting foreign buyers and bolstering remittance inflow. Per the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission approval, the company will issue 50 lakh shares at a face value of Tk10 each, with a restriction on declaring stock dividends for three years post-listing. Green Delta Capital Ltd is overseeing the issue management for Craftsman Footwear’s capital market entry.
