The top 10 unique ideas submitted by the nation’s youthful, curious minds were recognized by Robi Axiata Limited, the second-largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh, as part of the web campaign “Tomar Chokhe Agamir Bangladesh.” According to a press release, the program, which was introduced on Victory Day of last year as a part of Robi’s 25th-anniversary celebration, gave kids all around the nation the chance to brainstorm ideas for an innovative and technologically advanced Bangladesh in the future.

On Wednesday, an award ceremony was held at the Robi corporate office where victors received crests, certificates, and other alluring prizes. More than 1,300 creative concepts were submitted overall as a result of the participants’ overwhelmingly positive responses to the campaign. Priority was given to the creative thinking, technological integration, and problem-solving potential of the ideas in the context of societal or everyday life issues when choosing the best ones. Samihat Taspia Rumaisa won the top award out of the tens of thousands of ideas she submitted for a device that would alert nearby hospitals and police stations when a car accident occurred. The company also declared its intention to invest up to Tk 25 million in R-ventures 3.0, its leading platform for digital entrepreneurship.
