Robi Axiata Limited reported a significant growth of 154%, reaching Tk106.65 crore in the January-March quarter of 2024, according to the company’s unaudited report for the first quarter. Its revenue surged by 7% to Tk2,516 crore, compared to the same period last year. Robi’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) stood at Tk0.20, net asset value (NAV) per share at Tk12.96, and net operating cash flow per share at Tk1.74 at the end of March. Revenue from mobile services rose by 8% to Tk2,340 crore, while revenue from interconnect services fell by 1% to Tk130 crore. Robi’s Managing Director and CEO Rajeev Sethi highlighted the impact of macro-economic conditions and high inflation on subscribers’ usage patterns, stressing the need for policy intervention to unlock growth potential amidst economic challenges.
