The government has announced increases in retail prices for diesel, kerosene, petrol, and octane, effective from this month. According to a gazette notification issued on the last day of April, the new prices are as follows: Diesel and kerosene have been increased by Tk 1 to Tk 107 per litre from the previous Tk 106. Petrol is now set at Tk 124.50 per litre, up by Tk 2.50 from Tk 122.
Octane is priced at Tk 128.50 per litre, up by Tk 2.50 from Tk 126. This adjustment reflects changes in international petroleum prices and is part of the government’s effort to align local prices with global market trends. The Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued the new prices through a gazette notification in line with the government’s decision.
