Banglalink’s revenue increased by 5.6% year-on-year to Tk 1,544 crore in the January-March quarter of 2024, driven by an expanding customer base. Mobile data revenue grew by 6.2% to Tk 523.6 crore. Despite a slowdown due to national elections in January, growth resumed in February and March. Company’s CEO credits the Digital Operator 1440 strategy, aimed at providing continuous services, for the company’s success. Banglalink’s subscriber base reached 4.44 crore in March 2024, up from 4.1 crore the previous year. The number of 4G users also saw a 23% increase, reaching 2.2 crore in the same period.
